I ordered a pizza in advance for pick up. When I arrived the manager was being very OCD arranging pizza slices on the buffet. He came out 3 times to do this while 20 people waited in the lobby. The restaurant was only 1/2 full and no one walked up to the buffet for more food. I called on the phone and asked them to come up front to help the people in the lobby. The manager said he didn't feel like dealing with everyone and that they were short staffed. I walked out and didn't get my pizza. Premier Pizza will get my business from now on.
People were friendly. Cleared off dishes promptly. Able to be seated immediately. Food available in the buffet line as needed.

I occasionally work in Algona, and like to come to this Pizza Ranch for lunch when I get free in time (lunch buffet closes at 1'30). Experience is fairly consistent with other Pizza Ranch restaurants I've visited. I like the salad bar and chicken the best.
The service was AMAZING! The assistant manager could not be topped. He was kind, caring, respectful, hard working, and genuine in his love of service to our group. I would be very proud to have a person of his character in my family and/or a co-worker.
