I wouldn't give this store even 1 star! I bought my girls a bunk bed in April of 2015, the main support on the bottom bunk broke within 3 months, then it was warranted but it took 3 1/2 month to get it back. And last weekend that same support broke again! Now this bunk bed set has a full lifetime warranty on it so it shouldn't be a problem getting the replacement again, right? WRONG!! They come with every excuse under the sun to not warranty it! First excuse, you already warranted this once...and your point is? its lifetime so it has to get replaced again under the warranty, that's why they have such things. They also claimed its discontinued but yet I can still find the exact same bed on Ashley's site! They would rather you come in and buy another bed from them! I spent around $1100 on this one, why the hell would I make that large of a purchase again for this crap to happen again! This place is a joke!

The two guys that have loaded and unloaded my loveseat are the best! Hope they get the credit they deserve

A few days later, I receive a voice message from Rey to let me know that the dining room set had been received, but their delivery truck was out of commission. I called Rey back to let him know that was ok and I would have no problem waiting until their delivery truck was fixed. When I tell him who I am on the phone, he says "Oh, the lady that shorted me $100" EXCUSE ME?! What great customer service you have!

Fast forward a couple weeks, when we are finally able to have our dining room table and chairs delivered. The chairs came to the house assembled and the delivery drivers assembled the table at our house. The delivery men were super friendly and prompt, I will give them that. Ten minutes after the delivery drivers assemble the table and chairs, my husband sits down in one of the chairs...he is 145lbs....the back of the chair falls off!! I am not happy this point, but I'm not fuming, I just wanted to call the store and have them come look at the chairs, because obviously something isn't right. I call the store...Rey answers. I tell him that my husband just sat in the chair and the back fell off. He says "so your husband broke a chair?" No, my husband did not break a chair, it was clearly not assembled correctly. Now, I am fuming. I tell him, I paid for this set and I expect them to last longer than 10 minutes and I want the delivery drivers to come back and look at them." Rey says..."Well you didn't even pay the right amount" Are you kidding me?! So my husband takes the broken chair up to the store and SHOWS them how the chair is not assembled correctly and Rey tells him that my husband is wrong, they are assembled correctly, plus mentions the fact that we shorted them $100. My husband eventually shows them wear the the extra screws/bolts went to assemble them correctly - the delivery drivers gave us a new chair, plus came to the house and fixed their mistake. I will never do business with Algona Furniture Barn again. I try to keep my business local, but for furniture I will be going out of town. Worst customer service I have ever had to deal with.

I find it hard to give Algona Furniture Barn even one star. I do not think I have ever had customer service as poor as I did. They were having their "Inventory Clearout Sale" and I was suckered in by all the signs and vehicles driving around. I went in on a Thursday to look around, found a couple I had liked; my husband went in on Sunday ("the last day of the sale") and told me to go ahead and purchase the one that I had liked...it was about 4:15pm and our 2 year old was napping. So I called to ask them their hours, they stated that they close at 5pm and today was the LAST day of the sale, so I had to come in if I wanted the price that was discussed. I wake my daughter and we go up to purchase the dining room set. I paid cash, the salesman (Rey) counts the money TWICE, gives me a receipt that I paid in full and tells me they will call me when the set arrives. The next morning (Monday), I receive a phone call from the store and they tell me they are $100 short on my payment. How is this my problem? I gave the salesman the money and he counted it TWICE, plus I have a receipt saying I am paid in full. They wanted me to come and give them $100...I don't think so! They tell me they will figure it out...Yea, that is what I thought. So later that day, I go by their store...and their sale is STILL going on, you know, the one they said ended yesterday?!

Very Crazy Prices. Very expensive.
